The cutscenes are excellent, and even with no animation the characters are moving and reacting realistically. There is never a dull moment, it's easy to catch on, and you're not stuck on boss battles for ages.
The characters are fresh, and you see plenty of growth! You find yourself caught up in story, which is very well thought out. Also, conversations are skipped, and you- Neku- have flashbacks when the information is needed. This keeps the story smooth, and you learn information right when you need it.
What I also love is that the game has so much variety. There are Walls you need to get past, and most times what you must do to get through is unique. New characters are all over the place, and the old ones have some interesting twists.
It's a game where you can go back and play it again, just because of all the little details you can master. Also, they take the game's features and incorporate them with the storyline, so you can try out what you might never really feel an interest in trying- like the "Tin Pin" for instance.
What I really appreciate is that you don't have battles sprung on you ever two steps. Pokemon games just about drives me nuts. I avoid grass at all living costs! O_O; In WEWY, you can choose when you battle by scanning the area around you.
There's no question about it- WEWY is my favourite game for the DS platform! Definately try it!
